DAY 1:
Visit the Guggenheim Museum, and a walk through
Bilbao’s very own “seven streets” in the old and classic downtown filled with some gothic architecture and medieval heart.
DAY 2:
Visit to the medieval walled town of Laguardia in La Rioja Alavesa wine region.Guided visit to Baigorri winery and lunch.
DAY 3:
Visit the oldest winery located between the two subregions of Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, before travelling to. Burgos, where the old and classic remains, this city preserves important vestiges of its medieval splendor.
DAY 4:
Visit Covarrubias’s classic city centre. See the Monastery of Santo Domingo de Silos a universal Romanesque gem.
DAY 5:
The exceptional Atapuerca, an enclave for the Human Evolution study as it was recognized by the UNESCO. Fromista and Carrion de los Condes stopovers.
DAY 6
Leon, and Astorga, cities with history that you can enjoy a guided visit to enrich your knowledge in romanesque arquitecture and XV closters and buildings.
Day 7
Visit one of the most attractive sites of the Road to Santiago, meet Ponferrada and its splendorous Castle built by the Knights Templar. Visit Villafranca del Bierzo and observe its rich monumental heritage.
Day 8
Visit to Santiago de Compostela’s monumental Cathedral a key work in the Romanesque style in which numerous architectural styles converge. Enjoy a stroll in the historic centre of the city.
Day 9
Old meets new in Vigo, its fishing origins left an historic quarter with a strong maritime flavour, which contrasts with the modern facilities of its marinas.
Day 10
Magical and colorful Porto in Portugal, this old century style city attracts by its charm and flavours, be enchanted. Enjoy the tastes and colors, and of course the wine. (tasting in a winery is optional).
Day 11
Transfer to the airport
